For too long Downtown Springfield has been without a quality food market, and inherent component of a full-spectrum business district.  As it has evolved the Downtown market is not large enough to attract a standard chain store. Therefore a new non-profit group, the Good  Food Good Health Center, together with the Independent Business Alliance of Western Mass have agreed to work to bring a unique new market to Downtown, at Apremont Triangle.

The new market is projected to focus on natural and organic foods that are difficult to obtain in Springfield, and will offer consumer memberships to families to purchase such feeds at discounted prices. Free Parking for customers, nutrition education, and locally grown foods are projected to be among the features of the new store. Project Managers would like to begin with a web-based home-delivery service starting in the Summer of 2008. Stay tuned to this web site, or register your interest on the Contact Us page.
